Research interests
My research interests revolve around bridging the research/practice divide, particularly with innovative community-oriented approaches to the rehabilitation and management of forensic clients. See here for a current community partnership to address adult deliberate firesetting. I supervise research at BSc, MSc, D.Psy, and Ph.D levels.
Teaching responsibilities
I am an Associate Professor in Clinical Research and Practice in Forensic Psychology, and Course Leader for the MSc Forensic Psychology.
A Registered Forensic Psychologist and a Chartered Psychologist with BPS Fellowship (FBPsS), I have a background as a psychologist with the Probation Service; working with clients across a range of settings including courts, prisons, approved premises, and the open community.
