Summary

Biography

I am a Senior Lecturer in Architecture at the 兔子先生. I joined the School of Architecture in September 2025 after holding academic and research positions at the University of Leeds (UK), the University of Naples (Italy) and University of Rosario (Argentina).

Qualifications:
PhD (Architecture); MArch (Hons); ARB; CNAPPC

Teaching Responsibilities

I have taught across a range of architectural subject areas, including  urban and architectural design at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Research Interests

My doctoral research investigated the tectonics, compositional principles and constructional modalities of modern Argentine architecture, exploring how design and construction processes informed architectural identity in the mid鈥憈wentieth century. This work connects architectural theory, tectonics, representation, and the study of form-making processes.

More broadly, my research spans urban morphology, architectural design and theory, tectonics and construction, post鈥慸isaster reconstruction, and the role of local materials in climate and seismic鈥憆esilient housing.

My recent work includes VR-supported co-design for infrastructure resilience in Ecuador, bamboo construction systems in Latin America, and investigations into architectural form through historical precedents and contemporary material practices.

My research has been published in International Journals and several edited books and architectural volumes. I have also presented my research in international conferences and symposiums.
