The MRes in Science and Health at the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú is designed for students who want to take the next step from undergraduate study into a research career in academia, industry, healthcare or environmental science.
In this webinar we will introduce the structure of the programme, explain how students develop advanced research and professional skills, and outline how the course prepares graduates for PhD study and research-led careers. The session will also highlight the opportunity to undertake a substantial independent research project within an active research group, using state-of-the-art laboratories or field facilities, and how this experience enables students to produce outputs such as a publication-style manuscript, grant proposal and conference presentation.
Participants will gain insight into the supportive research environment at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú and how the MRes provides a strong foundation for becoming a confident and effective researcher.
