Engineering plays a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing everyday life, influencing everything from the phones in our pockets, to the transportation we take, and the energy that powers our homes.
With a high demand for engineering graduates, you could find yourself working anywhere, from contributing to buildings in your local community to designing aircraft in aerospace engineering.

- Get hands-on with workshops in Mechanical, Electronic and Renewable Energy Engineering to discover what areas interest you the most
- Explore our Thermofluids Lab, which are used to investigate fluid mechanics, combustion, heat transfer and thermodynamics
- See our wind tunnels in action and challenge yourself to make the best glider
- Find out about the exciting range of careers that a degree in Engineering can lead to
- Meet lecturers and technicians to find out more about studying Engineering at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú
- Quiz current students about their experiences in ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú, from what drew them to engineering and university life

We'll introduce you to all aspects of Engineering ready for your Taster Day - here you'll get to meet the staff and students that make up our Engineering courses at uni.
Get hands-on experience of Mechanical Engineering in our Thermodynamics lab where you could one day undertake experiments.
See our wind tunnels in action as have a go at constructing and balancing a glider and test it against your classmates' creations.

You'll attend any 1 of these sessions during this particular timeslot, and you'll get to participate in all 3 workshops over the course of the day.
Ready to be at the forefront of Renewable Engineering?
At the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú we reflect the essential values of moving towards more sustainable energy solutions.
This workshop will help you get to grips with experience in our teaching lab to give you a flavour of what studying this degree looks like with a focus on powering the world sustainably by energy conversion and low carbon heating systems.

Electronic Engineering degrees sees students design and develop electronic equipment and devices that could have a significant impact on the world.
Join us for a lab session where you'll be able to immerse yourself in the projects we carry out in ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú and see how you'll be part of the constant development of essential technology.
