Research Governance and Ethics

Our commitment to high quality ethical research

It is essential that the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú's national and international research follows all legal and ethical requirements. Research governance and ethics covers processes that support researchers in understanding their wider societal, legal and ethical responsibilities. This covers everything from human clinical trials to animal research. The following pages provide information for researchers, regulators and funders as to how we meet these obligations.
